Tamesha’s career in education spanned more than 20 years with some international teaching experience. She is an award-winning entrepreneur who enjoys mentoring, event planning and is committed to building communities. This passion further came to life when in 2016 she was recognized as a Black Canadian Role Model and began networking with other like-minded women outside of teaching. After spending some time in the financial services sector, she decided to create Empower Her 101 to help females commit to ongoing personal growth. She also helps individuals to advance in their careers and/or start their own businesses and uses financial literacy as the platform as she engages them. One of the things that brings her joy is to see people winning at life and smashing their goals! In 2025 she revisited her goal of teaching financial literacy to high school students and is looking forward to fruitful partnerships in this regard.                                                                                                                                                             

Her goal of being the owner of a legacy-based system teaching financial literacy to Canadian High Schools is coming to life and she could not be more thrilled.
